With heavy hearts, we wanted to share the news that Dorothy Mari of Sol De Villa, Frisco Mari's oldest daughter, and a dear friend of the family, passed away last night at home. We do not know what the cause was but we lost a beautiful light in the world. At almost 100 years of age, so much of her time on this earth was given to strengthen the Arabian Horse World into what it is known like today. We are heartbroken and wish we had more time with this amazing soul. There were many goals and dreams for the future we had in store. Flying her out here to see the horses she birthed and raised. To meet Elan and see the legacy he will continue. All we can hope now is that she is with us and watches us now as we move forward. While Dorothy and Rose Mari are not blood relatives, they were and are apart of our family. The Mari sisters gave us so  much. Dorothy gave us so much. She adored our family and treated us as her own. She lives on within her sisters and family. Within us here at Swan Arabians, and within the horses that will continue the legacy she began. We love you Dorothy. Thank you for everything.
